Colts 7 Kew Park Rangers 3 (away)
We travelled to the club near Kew Gardens for the 11.15am ko. After a bright start from OCC, we won a penalty after 5 minutes. This was taken by Elizabeth Daniels who kicked the ball over the bar. On 10 minutes Laura Henry broke through the Kew defence and struck the ball into the back of the net from 10 metres.
On 15 minutes a throw in was taken by Joanne Danials found its way to Gemma Cooper who beat the goalkeeper from a short distance. Elizabeth scored the next two goals very quickly after Gemma's goal. Both times she used her pace to beat defenders and finish with a strong shot.
In the 30 minute Sam Hackshaw left the goalkeeper standing after shooting from the edge of the penalty area with a powerful shot that nearly broke the goal net. Sam repeated this in the 40th minute with a similar shot for her second goal.
On 42 minutes Kew won a penalty which OCC goalkeeper Victoria Adams saved. Victoria was congratuated by all her team mates.
Both sides had 17 players, and all the girls played. In the last 15 minutes of the game Kew responded with 3 goals and excellent football. The final score was 7-3.

The game was the first for Kew and the fourth for Old Coulsdon Colts. Both sides played with very well in a good spirit. New friends were made and lessons learnt about football. Both sides are looking forward to a return game at Coulsdon.
