Horsley A 3 v Old Coulsdon Colts A 3
League 9th October 2004
Once upon a time, Coulsdon Colts A travelled to a faraway
land to a small town with a football team who had a big reputation.
Read on to discover the fate which awaited the visiting team…..
The game started well with Simon tipping the ball over the
net on 2 minutes and expert passing from Ben, Ryan and Jack
must have got Horsley thinking that this game wasn’t
going to be a walk in the park. 15 minutes into the first
half, with a cruel twist of fate, Horsley went 1-0 up due
to an own goal coming off Jack’s shoulder.
This tipped the balance of play in Horsley’s favour
and just before half time, they put another one away.
Our story continues with the second half and new tactics from
Kings Richard I & II. Renewed vigour and expert play from
Edward provided Ben with a chance at goal. And he stuck it
away.
